Thank you for your understanding and support, Sancho. Love does indeed often hurt, which is why I advise everyone who manages to find true and lasting love to hold on to it for dear life and consider it the greatest treasure in the universe, far more precious than all the money in the world, and to realize that they are lucky beyond words. For those of us who the Fates are less kind to, and who can never seem to find someone to love us (at least not for very long)...we have to grin and bear it and accept that perhaps we are destined for a higher purpose (I just hope it's a good one!).

I'm glad that you and the adult woman you are intimate with understands your feelings and that you were always honest and upfront with her. I would totally hate to do to someone else what my most recent love interest did to me, and I'm glad you would never do something like that, either.
