Most women will follow the money. (note I said "most", not "all") I don't know if it's just western women, or if it's hardwired in them. But at the first sight of a "better catch" (howsoever she defines better), they're off.

How terrible it is that girls transform into such creatures. The gods must laugh and laugh at us poor scrabbling fools.

I may be attracted to them, and I may even love them.... but most times I don't like them much.
