Anything you say, can and will be used against you in a court of law. No matter what they say to you, they can and will lie to you so keep your mouth shut even if it is an obvious truth. What I did, it was fun, too: answer their questions with a question.
"Is your name John Doe?"
"Do you have evidence of it being otherwise?"
"Were you at Suzie Q's house on the night in question?"
"If it were illegal, would I tell you? If it were legal, why should I tell you?"
"You're not being very cooperative."
"You have a question?"
"Is this you in the photograph of Suzie Q?"
"Can you not see I am sitting here in your chair?"
"Okay, smart ass, is that your image in the photograph?"
"Is the photograph in your possession? If you possess it, how could it be mine?"

If you have a PD, be careful here, too: they are rarely there to help you.
I don't know your situation, but if I am not mistaken, you can demand their questions be submitted to you in writing prior to your being questioned. Ask your lawyer about that. Then force them to submit the questions. That gives you a bit of time to pose your answers.
