Yes, if I have my facts straight, the cops ended up taking their place, but some of the so-called victims were actually teens originally. The cops were keeping an eye on the MAAs' chatroom activities because they were past offenders. Then later the cops let the teens and their parents in on what was going on. So they all just played along with it to try and catch out the "perpetrators" at these meeting places.

But my main question is why the teens and their parents didn't seem to find anything alarming about a 20 year old wanting to meet up with them, but later when they found out that it was guys in their 40's they said "gee if we had have known that there was someone in the 40s we would have known something terrible was going on". I just find the double standard strange. Legally a 20 year old is just as much a "predator" as a 50 year old.
