This reminds me of something

Ever notice how much the show "Friends" takes cracks at inter-generational relationships?

One time Ross was going out with someone ten years younger than him. She was around 21 I guess. Anyway he came over one day, and her and her friends were having a waterballoon fight with the guys from accross the hall, and Ross got all annoyed, and I was thinking to myself "Dude, why don't you just join in!" But of course he ended up breaking up with her.

He got so many cracks from the other characters for dating her, as did Monica for her relationship with an eighteen year old (so she broke up with him), and the much older Richard that she fell in love with.

Jeez I can't believe I've watched so much "Friends" heheh
