I had a yf as recently as a few months ago so I'd have to put myself down as aware of the dangers, careful, but worth the risks. I also have no problem with it going both ways. I have friends who are older and younger than me by a decade or more. That has been the case for me since I was younger as well so it is not seen as too weird by people who know me.

Diss I also think your perception is colored by the fact that you do not have real life friendships with AGs. I understand and even agree with your reasons for not doing so. Being out is brave and carries with it certain consequences, though I have known a few out MAAs with yfs it is more dangerous. YFs are not easy to just get or keep (sometimes) but they obviously do happen even in today's climate.
