But really, I'm just wondering how difficult it has been for people to cultivate relationships with other GLers--it sucks that we either have to keep what I think is an important detail about ourselves a secret from everyone we know, or just become a complete recluse.

I personally enjoy being alone a lot of the time, for many reasons. If GL was legal, I would probably just hang around with young girls all day, they're fun, loving, sweet, and a joy to have around. ;-)
