For all you anti-American war haters

The Hurt Locker got Best Picture!

The movie was well done and it shows that despite the politics of the Iraqi war the human condition is naturally drawn to the rush of conflict.

Politic-wise? I know some female drivers whose sons are in Iraq right now. They are there not to be killers or child rapers or corporate guns, but rather to escape life in a Flour Mill town or to have some stability after being laid off from two jobs in just seven months. There are little girls who have never seen their fathers, either dead or in service. And their moms still drive the family on because it would be what their husbands wanted.

And has it ever occurred to anyone here that under a radical-Islamic government we would be decapitated by now? At least to some extent if we get arrested we live in system that allows defense of our situations and our positions. All thanks to our soldiers.
