Yes, don't worry, I've protected myself.

I must say that on past observation, I should not expect too much in the way of proper debate or logical enquiry at AZU. But, I have my reasons for posting there.

As far as defending myself during my recent attack goes... Well, for a start, there where five of them (four once I started to fight back - one of them ran away). I'm not quite sure what would have been expected of me. All I was concerned about was getting away and keeping safe.

That required disabling them. I didn't want to kill anyone. I just wanted to put them in a position where they couldn't hurt me anymore.

The wound to my hand was from disarming one of them of a knife. I had to use the blade to do it - not the best way, but in the heat of the moment, it was the only way. Better a cut, than a knife stuck under my ribs!

My other wounds, and theirs - all picked up in the scuffle, really. Like I said, I just wanted to get away from them, and it all got very complicated and confused.

I could quite easily crush someone's windpipe, or puncture a lung with a punch. Or I could take out a collarbone easily enough. No-one fights after that happens to them. But all those things are dangerous, and shouldn't be used unless absolutely necessary.

I did what I had to do to get away. And I did. I don't want to get into trouble, Hierophant. Though I did, anyway.

With that in mind, maybe I sould have gone for it, and really hurt them and made it worthwhile.

But I don't regret not doing that, if that makes sense. I don't think they'll be giving me any more trouble, really!
