In my (unfinished) comic book project, which was actually going to be a graphic version of my novel, formerly Closetleap, the protagonist has a box he calls Pandora's Box. The box's interior is decorated with several images that are meaningful to him and to girl lovers generally. These include Arthur Rackham's illustration of Pandora (for which the box is named), a Mary Cassatt painting, one of Tenniel's illustrations of Alice, and Simberg's "The Wounded Angel." All of these have symbolic meaning in the story.
