Jewish girls go through the rite of passage into adulthood at age 12. Our culture today considers a female of 12 to be a child.

Mary, the mother of Jesus, was certainly no adult when God chose her to be the mother of his son and impregnated her. The consensus among biblical scholars is that she was not over 14, probably 13, and possibly as young as 12 when she was gave birth to Jesus.
So, she could have been as young as 11 when God impregnated her.

Yes, God is a pedophile, and if pedophilia is good enough for God, who are you to bitch?
