Why is this called pedophilia ?

Hi,

I was happy to found out that i was not really attracted to young children 0-13 years old but more to teens 15-17. I am trying really hard not to be attracted to 14 years old. Now i don't want to condemen pedophilie. I mean we are in the same boat but you know if i could get away from that label i would be happy none in their right mind would want to be called a pedophlie hope you understand.

Honestly i am myself attracted to a 16 years old girl right now going on 17. I have been attracted to her since the end of her 14 years old. But it w as more strong when she hit 15. She herself is really attracted to me and all the people knows it but i am ashamed of letting my parents knows about it. I am in my 20's. I know it happen for teens to be attracted to young adults

My idea is here in canada you can have a relationship with a 16-17 years old girl if you are not in an autority position such as a teacher,school bus driver,sport teacher,priest or a close family member. Also you must not try to get the girl to prostitute for you. Even 15 years old. It used to be legal in canada now it's illegal but in France it's still legal.

It's just that i hear this story about a sport teacher having sex with 12-16 years old young players and now he is convicted for pedophilia. Why is he convicted for pedophilia when anything above 13 years old is not considered pedophilia in psychology. Is it just the media trying to have a big news title to scare the population ? I can understand that sex with 12-13 years old player is pedophilia and even 14 years old player to some extent but 15-16 years old players ? Is it just because he was in a position of authority and that means is it illegal to be with anyone under 18 years old. It's like i hear this news story and i was like wow it could be me called a pedophile on public tv.

Seriously a 16 years old girl is completly devopled, Drive her own car,work
and she can even be kicked out of her parents house. Some deceide to go at that age. At 17 years old many get out of the house to go to college. At 15 is the age they start having boyfriends. I have read somewhere that even thought an adult with a 15 years old is illegal in Canada. They can't stop you from having a romance with one. Is that true ?

I am sorry for this post i am shaking right now and i am really anxious. I thought i was doing great and that being a hebephilie was not that bad.
That means that if i had a concentual relationship with a 14 years old-15 years old girl i would be under trial for pedophilia even if it's not pedophilia and that she is just underage. Even if i am not in a position of trust.
