What should I do

when I have relatives who feel this way?

I ask a few close loved ones tonight if they knew what "jury nullification" meant? They started guessing, and I said "Wait, since you'll never guess". I'm sure you can imagine some of their guess (the obvious).
Anyways, after I told them, they didn't really seem too convinced, and acted as though it was a bit weird or crazy or silly or stupid and prolly even had the idea that this might be some way of the court system that has been long done away with.

Here's what two of my loved ones said after I explained to them what it was:
One said "That would encourage we citizens to feel free in obeying any old law we felt like obeying, as opposed to all laws. He said this like he felt it would be "wrong" for citizens to be able to pick and choose which laws they want to abide by and which ones not, as opposed to being compelled by fear-of-god to keep all of our "god-placed-rulers'" divine laws.

The other one said that he would rather take himself off the jury than to vote according to his conscience, in the event that his conscience was in conflict with what the law was.

This almost sounds like the law itself determines what his conscience is.
Folks, This highly disturbs me, and kinda makes me want to get the fuck far away from them. But I know they love me and they show it, despite knowing of my attraction. But their misplaced morals are making me insane. And they cannot be reached, at least not by me. They feel they are totally blessed by God and doing "right" by that God.

What should I do? How should I handle this?
