I was actually thinking of something along these lines recently: in the past some of us have entered or started discussions at various online groups (and later some of our posters have attempted to engage antis on their own websites). Likewise, many of us have discussed tangential subjects with people we know in real life. I think that was valuable, and can still be valuable. In fact, after traveling around the world and talking to educated people in their twenties, I think it has been largely successful. You would be amazed at how often I have heard people repeating ideas that I am pretty sure originated among our posters here. But I was thinking that we need an online presence now where individuals can "talk to a pedophile", and get more-or-less real time responses to their questions - maybe even a chat room. This "living book" idea isn't bad, but is problematic due to threats of violence and issues of location. It would be lovely if we could do something like this online. Baldur ![]() |
