| I think Polanski is an asshole for doing what he did, but I also agree with those who say he shouldn't be extradited--too costly for the U.S. right now for one thing, and for another the victim herself didn't want him to stand trial. But I also commend the French for not bowing to U.S. pressure, especially on such a sensitive issue. |
