I honestly didn't think I'd be doing this again, but I had such a time putting the first playlist together! : ) Even more fun this time around! No joke, it took me less than an hour to compile this list. (Lateralus can vouch for this, putting together these video sets is NOT as easy as it seems.) This time around, I am featuring a trio of symphonic metal vids (currently my favorite genre). Moreover, each featuring female vocalists. In my opinion, they get better as they go along. In fact, the third one is the self indulgent vid this time; I think it's brilliant!

Then there will be a couple of extra videos at the end. But more on that later...let's go!

The first vid is from Tarja Turunen, former vocalist of Nightwish. Unfortunately, her solo work doesn't hold a candle to her work with NW. But, still, it's Tarja and she has my respect! The video for I Walk Alone️ ↗ is clearly based on Hansel & Gretal. And probably more opulent than it has any right to be. I found it hard to seriously. Though worth watching at least once. : )

Next up is Omnos️ ↗ from Eluveitie. Not a fan, but other than the chorus I liked this one. Ironically, it's more mellow than their usual material, but I found I like it a bit better than their heavier stuff. The girl in the video, who is actually featured a great deal, reminds me a lot of a younger Miranda Cosgrove. Is it just me?

Finally, Sirenia with a beast of a song and a glorious video to go along with it! \m/ You'll watch it for about a minute and a half wondering what in the hell has gotten into me! LOL! When you see 'em, you'll know what I mean. Anyway, here is the very righteous The Other Side️ ↗!

Now for the extra vids. This first one is totally not the right genre, but I think it somehow fits in nicely with the three previous ones. The only thing I know about this video is that I like the main girl in it. ; ) It is a something called Delerium with a song called Angelicus️ ↗.

And now a fun one from the I swear this actually happened file! Manowar. Nickelodeon. Let me reiterate that. Manowar on Nickelodeon. Manowar: the living, breathing example of all things stereotypically metal...on Nickelodeon️ ↗. The song is shit (hey, I did say it was Manowar!) but the Q&A session with the kids at the end is the type of thing I respect Manowar for!

Now I'll end this round with some typical Manowar lyrics. They can't stop us, let 'em try! For heavy metal we will die!

Mmm'kay...
