Also I am of the opinion that comparing the gradual acceptance of homosexuals, various non white ethnic groups, women etc. to a gradual acceptance of the pedo sexual community is primarily a false analogy. There is first of all the issue of differences in societies perception of consent and cognitive development between a minor/child and an adult that must first be dealt with before one can expect any societal acceptance of lg adult intimacy.

These comparisons, while derided by even the majority of liberals in modern society, are more apt than one may think upon careful inspection. Society once likewise had very different perceptions of the inherent capabilities of women and non-white ethnic groups in the past also, and the arguments designed to justify and rationalize their oppression back in the day are chillingly similar to those often used to justify and rationalize the oppression of those the law today labels "minors" today.
