Yes. But we should expect bold, reckless parents as well as shy, careful parents. We should expect bold, reckless daughters as well as shy, careful daughters. Therefore, where parents and daughter disagree on who she should have sex with, we should expect both bold parents pressing a shy daughter into marriage as well as careful parents protecting reckless daughter´s chastity.

Why are the second kind of parents so much more common than the first?
