Why continue the engagement? Why shoot her?

Yes, I know what I am gonna say makes me a racist. But this is common procedure in Israeli checkpoints. If you even ask, sorry, you have lived in your bubble.

My impression, seriously, was "yawn, another one, yawn".

Assuming everyone reads the same article I did, I understand the "confirming kill" policy.

You just have to. It's pretty normal. Like it or not, it's part of engagement and you cannot help it.

My point here is to show how it is possible for a human being to even think of taking the life of a little girl.

Unrelated to being a racist, I seriously don't consider a lg's life as any more worthy just for being a lg's.

Some lg's lives might be more worthy than others due to other factors - which would apply anyway regardless of age or gender.

But really, making a fuss because she was 13 not 43 or a girl not a boy makes no sense to me.

Whether it was right or not to take her life really, really, doesn't depend on her age and gender.

It is this pre-determined Hierachy of Life Worth that allows Israelis (and Palestinians, for that matter) to kill at will just like that. Yes, yes, I am teh racist.
