Stop being a fuddy-duddy, at least you are right now! Really, you're coming across as an otaku who actually believes manga is somehow more sophisticated than anything western. Yes, talking cats an' all! There are times when you can just toss aside that type of integrity and just have some mindless fun. So it won't hold up snuff to the source material and any non-American adaptation. That's pretty much accepted as law by now, isn't it? ; )
