| Yes, I've mentioned it, in various contexts, in several of my media updates now. (Don't you read them?) Like Dante, I'm not really that excited about this. First off, I don't think it's necessary, and I hate that Hollywood feels like they have Americanize every foreign that was successful in the U.S. Secondly, as much as I liked Moretz as Hit Girl, I think she's woefully miscast here. She's too old, and they should've went with an actress who looked more like Leandersson--that is, dark-haired and dark-eyed. My choice was Ariel Gade, though she's also edging towards a being a bit too old for the part. But I'll watch it anyway . . . with my expectations lowered. |
