1) You don't go around intentionally collecting KP and burning it to your own DVDs for 7 years unless you dig the kiddies.

And yes, this includes the cops who say "for records" and the antis who say "for entrapments".

2) Whether or not he had a philosophical / political narrative to see it as an act of civil disobedience on top of it being hawt doesn't matter too much. Even unwittingly, he was engaging in civil disobedience. Even if he didn't subscribe to broad CL tenets, he was, in actions, fighting on our side.

There might be more doubts and questions with a contact case, especially one filtered through the police and media lenses; but really with any case, even one where you knew personally both partners - there are hundreds of factors and dynamics. Yet I really have no doubts about a KP case. And notice that even the police who said burglary is a "lesser evil" or the media (Fox News, not exactly your hippie channel!) didn't say "child rape documentation" or "the worst abuse imaginable", but a completely insipid "child pornography" - to me that is implying that whatever contents those are, they might be illegal but are not abusive. They wouldn't lose the chance to say so if they were.
