There are people who collect all sorts of porn, including child porn

That too is mentioned by media reports of arrests, as it usually is an attempted defense, and it wasn't reported in this case.

How can you equate that with being a child lover

I don't equate anything with being a child lover. I already admitted that I don't see any evidence he was willingly doing civil disobedience. Just that I don't think the laws suddenly become fair and ethical because the one who broke them would not be a CL by our definitions.

(And again, this is a reason why it matters that this is a KP arrest, not a contact arrest - I am more open to concede on a contact case; but a KP case? I have no evidence that he actually harmed any child, and as long as the case remains a KP case, I have every reason to believe he never did. Contact, even with the known biases in reporting, does leave the door open to conflicting interpretations, and to "maybe this one arrest is right". KP pretty much doesn't. Even if he was not what we would call a CLer, he wasn't harming anyone. Unlike the guys who burglarized his home.)
