G'night: very ancient, very beautiful Finnish song
Posted by griffith on 2011-October-07 23:27:23 EDT, FridayOnly the video - very good - is different. I don't know who has made it.
In a way there are three parts in this song, and in the last part you hear the sonorous beauty of the Finnish language.

About two hundred years ago this poem was translated into about 60-70 languages. It is said to be one of the strongest love declarations in the world.
Good night.
(Also: if I could create the site "the most melancholic songs in the world", this would be one of those songs.)
