The U.S. assassinated two American citizens with that ⛓️‍💥drone strike.

And George Washington and Thomas Jefferson were considered "traitors" by the king of England.

"One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter." - Gerald Seymour

Perhaps what they were doing was wrong, though it is notable that these two men did little to actually kill Americans living in America. The cargo plane bombing plot was particularly ingenious, especially as I suspect that their intent was to expose the operation before it did actual damage. It cost the U.S. government billions to protect against such attacks - and yet they pulled it off without loss of life.

Meanwhile, the U.S. government continues to kill thousands of innocent people as "collateral damage".

So, who is acting like the terrorist here?

And why support that terrorist government, which also terrorizes us?

"When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty." - Thomas Jefferson

I probably don't agree with the views of AQAP, but I also recognize that they wouldn't be threatening us if our government were not threatening them. They really don't care what we do in our own country - they fear what we are doing to their people in foreign lands.

So let's not defend the unlawful actions of an illegitimate government that attacks people who attempt to defend themselves by lashing out at the people who installed that illegitimate government, simply because those foreign actors are unable to differentiate between Americans who are attacking them and Americans who oppose such attacks.
