It was the Tea Party itself that chose to be walk in the paradoxical limbo of "Don't define us--we're just people who want fiscal reform" bullshit.

I don't think anyone here ignores that fiscal conservatives have a significant overlap with social conservatives.

I don't think that's required by either broad theory, but it certainly happens.

(Although, and you have pointed it out yourself, it seems that psychologically they are similar)

I only date fiscally conservative lg's, of course. And it's fun when we organize Tea Parties.
