Yes, I know this was aimed at me (and Sheepy), and I'll explain it to you. First off, there is a difference between someone who dislikes us and someone who advocates or practices violence against us. In fact, there is a whole spectrum of antis--they are not all the same, and what I object to is that sort of black & white thinking that lumps them all into one group: those in active pursuit of causing us harm in form or another. There are tons of antis who are merely ignorant; they have been misinformed for so long that they have nothing to compare against the myths. I have such antis in my family and I sure as fuck don't want them to die or to suffer. Some of them know about me and I know their perceptions are being altered.

There are also people some here would call antis who want better treatment and understanding for us, though they still think adult-child sexual contact is wrong and harmful. See, the problem is that we can't even agree on what the definition of anti is--to me an anti is someone who would harm or kill us given the opportunity; they hate and persecute us. Someone who just thinks adult-child sex is wrong but doesn't really hate us is not an anti in my book. The real antis I have no love for and wouldn't shed a tear if they died; however, I am not going to waste energy on directing malice towards them. I have better things to and I take pride in the fact that I'm better than they are. Besides, hatred is like an infection: it will corrupt and hurt you if you let it fester. It will take you over and you will never have peace; I've been there. You're better off to let it go.

As far as state "terrorism" goes, the people our gov't is targeting are very bad people who want to hurt Americans, just as antis want to hurt you. I have no hatred for them, but nor do I shed a tear when they are killed. They brought it upon themselves. Anyone who actively participates in a campaign to do real harm to any group, be they gays, MAPs, blacks, Americans, or whatever deserves whatever comes about as a result of their behaviors. I don't think the American gov't always does the right thing, and in this case they could've (should've?) done it differently. They didn't. Sorry, but I just can't bring myself to feel outraged that a terrorist (or at very least a terrorist sympathizer) was killed by a drone attack. Maybe I should, but I don't. I'm not perfect, so sue me. I don't put ideals above humans, and in this case humanity is just a little better off for not having Awlaki encouraging Muslims to kill us, and in fact, Muslims are better off not having him around too, because it is people like him who gave them such a bad name in the first place. Good riddance and next topic, please.
