It is hardly venomous to say that one will not be upset if those who persecute us should die. Many of our enemies actively call for our deaths - to be happy when such vile persons die is merely normal.

And though we should be mindful of how we present ourselves in public, let us not appeal to those whose minds suffer the greatest distortions. They will never be convinced, though the angel Gabriel announce to the world God's blessings on all child lovers.

Rather, we must appeal to the great middle - those who would support us if they only knew the truth; those who, in many cases, are us.

It is important to guard our tongues and think before we speak, but that does not mean that we should be afraid to speak the truth - only that we should be careful as to how we speak the truth, trying to avoid offense where we can, but not by sacrificing the message.

Pedophiles are people just like everyone else. We experience joy and sadness, epiphany and contentment, bewilderment and rage. We are inclined towards peace, but not too cowardly to defend ourselves. We should not deny the fact that we are ... human.
