Its not the pattern of starting that is most noticeable but the pattern of complaint following prolonged argument.

Its not a question of who started what, as it is of who resents the arguments they choose to participate in.

You are not alone in this.

But it baffles me why anyone would extend something and complain about its extension.

The best way to kill a thread is to disregard it. And the best way to switch topics is to start a new one.

You will never hear me complain about OT posting in an OT thread I choose to contribute to. ( Excepting maybe that it be flagged as OT so that those who truly eschew such things can better avoid them.

But hey, that's just the pro-choice part of me talking.
