You think being fake nice will get you anywhere but it won't. That's what the homosexual movement tried in the 50's and early 60's and it failed. Read this post at boychat: http://boychat.org/messages/1272061.htm
Pay attention to this part:
They sought to erase the renegade history of the gay subculture and to make themselves into respectable Americans. One could certainly argue that the strategy of respectability was necessary in the conservative era of the 1950s and early 1960s, but it was also an abject failure. The respectable movement failed to end police harassment (it actually increased in the 1950s and 1960s), won no civil rights, and, by eliminating the most powerful form of sexual dissent in American culture, actually contributed to the sexual conservatism of the time.
If you read the book, you'll understand that gay's gained the most ground when they were at their most radical. They actually achieved the most when they had Nambla in their parades.
But they gave that all up because of people like you, the assimulationists, who thought it would be better if they embraced more of the values of the conservative class. They wanted to be seen as more "respectable" by idiots. I'm done trying to persuade stupid people. I'm just going to be myself and say whatever I think and if they don't like it they can suck my dick.
