We keeping thinking society needs to change first but it's us that needs to change first. If we were a movement we'd be protesting out on the streets, rioting, making ourselves known in public... and not just one person, but a whole army of us.
Yeah, right, get all of us together in a single place - whatever wrong can happen? It's not like they can shoot us from a drone or ride armored vehicles over us. It's not like vigilantes would be publicly calling for that in all the media either. It's not like police acts on illegal or unethical orders. It's not like the media would ignore it or only cite the vigilantes in their reports. No, it's not like that; it's that we're just lazy.
About 20 years from now I will die from natural causes. I intend not to walk into the predator's fanged mouth and lose even my right to choose my death.
