It is in this capacity of responsibility that I see a stark duty to draw attention to the need for all to self moderate our hate speech.

We have a different definition of what constitutes hate speech.

But fair enough.

One can not be outed if one does not give PJ information to work with. But you have just underscored a second reason for keeping a low hate profile.

Yeah, Siva posted nothing but GMs. Fayla posted nothing but YL points of view. Cangee posted half GMs, half science stuff, and the most hateful I ever saw him was against GC Christians. Poisontears came here nearly always to heal depression. A guy who must not be named always talked about trying to collaborate with police and even antis to solve actual coercive cases. Another guy who must not be named always tried to say that we could change and that he was trying to change. And otoh Sigma, the most hateful poster ever, is at large. There is some (moderate, but seems significant) correlation with activism offline (*waves at LOD*) but I see none with being not-really-pro/a-little-pro/somewhat-pro/very-pro despite what both extremes of the spectrum say about it being "very" important.

We continuously do our part to guard each of you by counseling you to use an anonymizer, not to keep cookies so you can't be followed, and by our personal counsel and counsel in the FAQ we labor over keeping updated so as to urge you in every way possible not to reveal identifying information about yourselves

AND WE THANK YOU FOR THIS!

How will our conduct sway the decision of their state to keep them after they have served their sentences or release them-

Well if it will, then the state is not doing its job. The case evaluation should be done on the merits of the guy who goes up for release, not on the merits of some guy on the internet who is not the guy they are going to either confine or release. This is valid for any crime, of course; and for any demographic: racial profiling is still racial profiling when it is done post hoc. To pretend all guys who committed the same crime or belong into the same demographic are identical is not just illegal, unfair and insane, but even counterproductive from a pure enforcement perspective.

Let's put that broken record in its place in the wastebasket, qtns2di4. I'm defending you and all of my brothers and sisters whom I work for-not the anties, babe. Indeed, I'm defending you when I call for self moderation of hate speech. Know thy enemy. You antagonize them at the board's peril. This is a wake up call-not a denunciation of a valid basis for anger. I choose not to join in expressions of anger for the same reasons I do not respond to your false accusations more sternly.

Well I am sorry, sincerely, if I upset you.

But understand that I feel you are asking for more consideration for antis than the consideration I gave to Awlaki "arrest and try him under the due process rules of the American legal system - and then put him in a chair in Texas if so it turns out, but not before". I only asked "don't drone him" not "don't say anything bad about him".

That is why I reacted like I did.

And I apologize to you, because you are you.

But I don't apologize to them and this post should not be construed as an apology to those who are committing, abetting, helping, or supporting the marginalization, rounding up and genocide of MAAs or the repression and dehumanization of youth. To me those are still Perverted Qaeda and yes, they hate us for our freedom.
