Pretty much.
No one can do it alone.
Then you're doing it wrong. There is nothing that can be done together which is not, in fact comprised of acting alone.
Ever stop to contemplate just... using the internet to replace society to look a bit friendlier? Don't hate the media and infrastructure, webcode them?
Really, we can coopt environmentalism, buying local (including local-to-the-website), organic and slow foods and sustainable agriculture, and the like, and lots of other day to day things like cooking or gardening or crochet. They're... remarkably neutral.
Oh look...

Free pictures of children and butterflies for your topbar while you document the local business of ______. Go. Make me infrastructure.
If we were a movement we'd be protesting out on the streets, rioting, making ourselves known in public... and not just one person, but a whole army of us.
Well, you can start by wearing it. You can convey a lot with a pink bandana.
Personally, I count myself pretty lucky. One of the CLogo pendants made for me has a pair of umbilical-clamping forceps worked into the design. Never has a person been so blessed... but honestly, you can do a lot with anything. Just get creative, and take ideas from what the neighbors are wearing.
Of course, it's not a full graffiti campaign with intermittent riot, but you can at least definately establish that there's no one there who cares if you stumble around in pink & purple & butterflies.
Now... go write me a travel guide or something. 'n make sure it's also in pink & purple & butterflies & cutehappy.
And no one person is to blame. We're all to blame in not coming together, including me. We're all responsible. We need to progress first.
I agree, but I'm working on a website.
There's enough posters on this board to replace much of the infrastructure over large areas, just to make it all pretty & friendly.
Just gotta build it.
