Re: Clarification

I lived in the U.S. for many years. I was, at one time, in military aviation during the Great War... no, not that one. The war that wasn't ever called a war except by everyone. (Vietnam Conflict.) Yet, I was not a U.S. citizen. I got a letter to appear and I fought them. I won, but then went in, anyway. (For other reasons.)

I had raised my hand and swore to defend the Constitution, yada yada yada, and, at the time, I naively meant it. My experiences taught me firmly never ever ever to allow any government to control me again. (Notwithstanding, my later prison experience was my own choice, as well.)

No, I do not hate any government. I hate people how hurt people without necessity.

I do not now pledge allegiance to anyone except my loved ones and, by extension, my friends. Most people here on this forum fit into that category.

Should I find it necessary to become violent to protect myself or my loved ones, I would do so in half a heart beat. But it will be my decision and not some government.
