Did you know the Mona Lisa was a Princess Boy?

Sorry GirlLovers, I get to claim this one :-)

The name Mona Lisa is an anagram for "mon Salai", literally means "my little devil" which is what Da Vinci would call him in his notebooks.

His real name was Gian Giacomo Caprotti, a male apprentice, longtime companion and possible lover of Leonardo da Vinci. He was the main influence and a model for the "Mona Lisa" painting. In fact, Da Vinci used Salai as a model in a number of his paintings.

I find it ironic that the most recognized artworks in human history is in fact the portrait of what I consider to be the most beautiful people in the world.
