Um, as LOD himself said, he attacked marriage period. The whole post can be construed as disparaging of LGBT movements; but I don't see the discrimination bit in that sentence. Denying the legitimacy of the marriage institution itself has a long history and is shared today, at least by significant parts of the socialist far left, the anarchist left and right, secularists of all stripes and some of the smaller religious movements. Many of them include as part of their reason to oppose the institution of marriage precisely that it is discriminatory against LGBT or that enshrining it in civil codes makes it subject to the whim of a majority that can make it so. So I really, sincerely, don't think that attacking marriage as an institution is in itself an attack on the LGBT.
