That was just my point: the LRA is certainly guilty of atrocities, but it hasn't ever threatened the USA in the way Islamic groups as al Qaeda have. And there is no way around either, that the regime being helped here is rather unsavory, even by the standards of the regimes helped by the USA in other regions and wars like Karzai or the Saudi monarchy.

And when I said GC, I didn't mean GC Committee. I mean "GC General Population", so to speak. The last debate not only prompted the flight of LOD but also brought Dissident back from hibernation. Agreed, I used a collective noun when I was really talking about many individuals.
