I'd expect that you would be in J's little sister's place some day, having to witness the death of a loved one at the hands of someone who flew into a rage and was able to murder his wife because a gun was easily available.

What makes you think I haven't?

Granted, it was organized crime, not something as comparatively petty as a domestic dispute. (I have never mentioned it because organized crime is irrelevant to GC, unlike a domestic dispute ultimately related to issues we deal with here)

Without the gun being there, the chance of that violent confrontation ending in a fatality would've been far slimmer.

With guns in the hands of the victims, the enforcers would have taken fatalities too.

This is why I despise masculinity. The feminine do not think this way.

Nonsense. There are plenty of male doves, same as there are plenty of female hawks.

It's not about being macho - it's about making the bullies stop.

Is it pretty? No it's not. I never said it was. But it is what it is.
