I believe the world would be much better if women ruled everything.

Nonsense. Female politicians have often displayed the same war-mongering, civil rights-encroaching, privacy-invading attitudes and policies as their male counterparts. The problem isn't the gender who predominantly sits in office, but rather it's the system under which we presently live that encourages such attitudes in its most respected politicians. Don't blame gender on this while letting the system off the hook, otherwise you open the door for voting for the likes of Hillary Clinton over that of Dennis Kuchinich. The problem is not which gender rules over everything; the problem is one gender ruling over another period.

And while I loathe macho men for basically the same reasons you do--I am not averse to giving an affectionate hug to male friends, telling special women I love them, or frequently using girl-friendly phrases and words--I also dislike certain types of females as much as I dislike certain types of men. I see bad traits typical in both genders, and I do not dislike one to the point where I disregard or completely overlook the bad traits often manifesting in the other. That is the road towards disliking a certain gender, and always taking the side of the other or being overly protective of them whenever a dispute occurs, something I have seen you do in the past. It's a path I do not want to walk myself, which is why I have taken the position of an egalitarian, and I stand up for the rights of both genders while opposing the system that favors inequality of many sorts. That way, I do not take the silly position of siding with one gender over another, but I take a stand against arbitrary inequality in general, be it based on race, gender, age, ethnic background, etc.

As for those macho men you dislike, please do not fail to note that many, many women love that type of guy more than the nice, sensitive type, regardless of their rhetoric to the contrary, and this, IMO, is a major failing of the way our culture and its less noble values brings up girls in terms of which traits in males they see as positive and appealing in a partner. Going along with it to the extent they do is emblematic of a character failing of many women that's as glaring as the character failings of the macho man/jerk type of guy, and I hold our culture largely to blame for the character failings so typical of both genders.
