I just wish organizations like NYRA would accept law abiding MAAs and their support openly. I completely understand why they don't though but sometimes they can be overly aggressive in their stance against MAAs and their ingoring of the Age of Consent. Some members even say the AoC is not a youth rights issue and I call bullshit on that and I think they are trying too hard to distance themselves from MAAs.

My next essay for NewgonWiki, which I am now planning, will deal precisely with the above disconnect between the youth lib movement and the MAA community, and why it exists at the present time. Your thoughts on it will be more than welcome, as I will run my initial drafts of the essay on GC, so you guys can act as my editors, as always. The AoC is most certainly a youth rights issue, because their sexual rights are among the most heavily stifled among the community, and I think almost every youth libber outside of our community is well aware of that. The reason they attack MAAs and want nothing to do with us is the result of social factors and political influences that they need to shed, and likely will in the future, and I will get into that in detail in my forthcoming essay.

Did you ever read John Holt's "Escape from Childhood"?

Not yet, though I have read much of his stuff already, and the above book is most def on my "to read" list :-)
