I can think of two prominent cases, one well-known and one personal. The well-known case was recent, when a group of siblings went on a cross-country robbing and shooting spree after one of them broke bail (I think) for some sort of underage sex offense. I linked the story here but I don't recall any of the names. The other was the guy who assaulted me. He was arrested for sex with a 14-year-old girl, and tried to pick a fight with the arresting officers. He got his teeth busted out, but then again, he was a moron. :)
