Recently, news ⚠️ ↗ has come that Ad van den Berg has been jailed for three years.

This news depresses me, as it shows how things are continuing to get worse, not only for people who have sexual thoughts about children, but for the world in general.

It is a clear cut example how the world is still prepared to bring harm to those who choose not to think a certain way. It is the Sharpe case all over again, except this time, it was done intentionally to silence outspoken political dissent.

The whole debate about child sexuality, child sexual education, consent, and child rights are complex, and includes arguable viewpoints from both sides of the arena. There is a room for debate for the topic of inter-generational sexual relationships, the production of child pornography, the mass distribution of actual child pornography, and these arguments are valid for both sides of the house.

The issue in regards to child pornography possession however, is clear cut. Imprisoning a person for the mere possession of images, literature, or any kind of stored information, is, in itself, a crime against humanity. There is no way you can spin it any other way. There is no "for the greater good and safety of children" argument, there is no "it provides a market or incentive" argument. It is clear cut.
The Dutch authorities have made it clear that they will do everything, including charging people for thought crimes, to ensure that any debate regarding child sexuality does not even take place.

Any person held against his will for the possession of information is absolutely a political prisoner. Those who hold that person against his will for possession of information are absolutely political criminals. Those who have committed crimes against humanity must be held accountable.

It is time to begin.
