He was charged with the possession of large quantities of child porn.
The maximum sentence for such a misdemeanor in the Netherlands is four years imprisonment.

Nonetheless this punishment is unusually high, after the police confiscated his computer last year he started to build a new collection and this probably led to this sentence.
