If you think America would be a better place if everyone without political power were defenseless "fish in a barrel", you are dead wrong.

This is the most ridiculous defense of the 2nd Amendment I've ever heard. You really think gun nuts will be able to stand against the American gov't with their pissant pistols and rifles? They have tanks, missiles, fighter jets, assault choppers, drones, and enough high-tech gadgets at this point to put James Bond to shame (which, I'll remind you, is largely thanks to the Republicans who still won't allow cuts in defense spending.) What do you have? Hunting rifles? Pffffft. Good luck with that. I have nothing particularly against people owning guns, but let's pretend like a few paranoid militia whackos would ever stand a chance in hell against the US gov't. If the gov't really wanted you dead then you'd better kiss your ass goodbye.
