I still vote for 'Leon'

And though it doesn't have a GL angle, I think that Natalie Portman and Al Pacino's chemistry in Heat captures the stepfather's dilemma quite well in the midst of one of the best action films ( without ray-guns or wands ) ever made.

Tom Laughlin's acting never did anything for me.
