OTOH, I won't miss the fact that every character in a 70s film who was set ablaze suddenly gained 80 lbs of padding and looked like they were in a deep-sea diving-suit.

LOL, true. Fortunately, there's no one burning in Billy Jack (although I'm sure that guy who got to have a naked kissing scene with a hawt teen had some firey feelings in his nether regions--and yes, she was an actual . . . and quite yummy . . . teen girl.)
