Today had a couple of interesting surprises on TV. First, I went to Mom and Dad's for a bit and Bonanza was playing. The particular episode was about a girl named Gabrielle (actually the ep was named after her) who was blind. A cute blond around 10 or so, the actress who played her is Diane Mountfort, whom I'd never heard of, but she looked familiar to me. After some research on IMDb I realized where I'd seen her before: she was one of the young girls in the film The Children's Hour ⚠️ ↗. Not a great actress, but definitely a cutie.

Then, tonight I was watching the show The Mentalist (the first time I've ever seen it, actually) and there's a 13-year-old girl on the show named Annabeth (played by Madison McLaughlin ⚠️ ↗) who knows all about guns and wants to be a cop like her aunt. Yeah, a little Dawson casting there, although she is still a teenager. Anyway, there's a funny scene where she starts flirting with one of the young cops that works with her aunt. :)
