I wouldn't be surprised if 100Gb really is biggest

Ok, my experience might be irrelevant now, because it has been more than a decade since I was arrested and prosecuted. But at that time I scoured the internet almost daily for CP and had every single photo and video I could find. And many people I traded with told me my collection was by far the biggest they had seen; finding people with anything I didn't have was very difficult.

Yet compared to the amount of adult porn available at the time, it was nothing. I could have downloaded as much adult porn in half a day as all the CP I had downloaded in a few years of regular searching. My experience was that the amount of CP on the internet was TINY compared to the amount of legal, adult porn. That's not really surprising, though, since distributing CP gets you decades of prison time while distributing adult porn gets you millions of dollars.

So is 100Gb the largest stash of CP on the entire internet? It very well could be. What I find interesting is what that does to the FBI's claims that CP is a $xx billion dollar a year industry. I haven't seen anything which said how much they charged to access that site, but it must have been astronomical if they're making billions of dollars off of 100Gb of content! Or it could be that, like me, they simply traded and there was no money involved at all . . . which also guts the FBI's claims of huge financial windfalls for CP providers.

Reminder to all: I have been prosecuted and convicted for all my illegal activities, and served my time. I have not been involved with CP or other illegal activities since then.
