Although, in fact, I do agree with Dante (who put it more succinctly and clearly than I could), something jumped over someone's head. Cute.
As for the content, yes, psychology and psychiatry are unfalsifiable and self-referential. Any part that is provable experimentally can be understood as an extension of neurobiology and related body sciences (or occasionally of behavioral economics). Now does this mean it is worthless? No, not really - I have myself been caught quoting Freud, Reich and Fromm. But it means it should not be admitted in the table of science. It is fine for the table of social thought. But it deserves to be admitted to court and policy about as much as Jeane Dixon, who predicted the takeover of China by the Communists and the assassination of John F. Kennedy, deserves to. She also predicted Nixon to win in 1960 so I take it as final proof of electoral fraud.
