Read the lyrics of "Stir It Up" by Bob Marley.

I'll push the wood (stir it, stir it, stir it together),
Then I blaze ya fire;
Then I'll satisfy your heart's desire.

When he was younger, they would burn wood in campfires. However, it is blatant that here he is referring to a romantic and sexual encounter.

Thus, who is he referring to? His little darlin'.

Not a woman. Not crying.
